April 2014 Eco-Tip: Watch out for weapons of mass disinfection

Chemical warfare is rife in our homes. We should hold back the hoover and stop to inspect these 'weapons of mass disinfection'.

Take a look at the cleaning products you use around your house. Note how many chemicals they contain. As they run out, replace them with ones that are more environmentally friendly.

If you want to take this further, go back to the good old-fashioned ingredients of bicarbonate of soda, vinegar and lemon juice. You'll be amazed at what you can do with this powerful trio!
